Child Education
Standard, dignified schooling for underprivileged children across India — books, learning material and the support that keeps a child in class.
About us
A registered non-profit working with rural schools and communities on water, sanitation, awareness and education.
Bright Pines Foundation was founded by a group of friends and professionals who kept running into the same problem in rural India: schools that existed on paper but could not function in practice. No drinking water. No toilets. Classrooms where children sat on the bare floor.
Rather than campaign from a distance, we chose to work school by school, village by village. We assess what a school actually needs, cost it honestly, raise the money, and stay involved after the work is done.
Over the years that approach has grown into four focus areas — water, sanitation, awareness and education — supported by relief work whenever our communities have faced a crisis, from the COVID-19 pandemic to seasonal emergencies.
Focus areas

Standard, dignified schooling for underprivileged children across India — books, learning material and the support that keeps a child in class.

Many rural schools still seat children on bare floors. We rebuild classrooms, furniture and the everyday fabric of a working school.

Bringing computers, connectivity and digital literacy to government schools so rural students are not left a generation behind.

Separate, safe toilets for girls, boys and staff — the single change that keeps adolescent girls from dropping out of school.

RO purification systems in rural schools, paired with water awareness programmes for hygienic and sustainable water use.

Relief for families in crisis — ration, safety kits and direct community support wherever the need is most urgent.
The people behind it
There would be no Bright Pines Foundation without the dedication and passion of its founding members. With the singular motivation of helping humanity, our driving force is to provide healthier living for all. We encourage you to join our team and work towards empowering lives globally.
